hi dude i had the same lha eroor with the ahi package in software tycoon but here it works fine i just took the other files and leave ahi then i burned it to cd and installed it and you can play.
the only thing that is not good is the ahi drawer in that package the game is perfect

Thanks for the reply, until now I tried to install Software_Tycoon
from a dirctory. I think I will burn it on a CD. Maybe there is a
magik dfferenece between an assign and a CD with the real name.

Hm, I downloaded the file from the FTP-Server tonight and unpacked it
into RAM: with the lha that cames with MOS 1.4 (I also got the error,
but it didn't bother me to much 8)).

However - just for checking:
The file I downloades has a size of 73823737 bytes and the MD5
checksum is e8c694ee8dd42c2e1fa67fa0df2fd51e.

I did no installation as such - just took the directory
"SoftwareTycoon" (which was in the main directory) and dragged it into
my games directory on my HD - that was all.

Started it and it did run - no need to install the accompanying AHI
over the one from MOS.

hey this was the right idea. Waht I made wrong I after
decrunching Software_Tycoon.lha I clicked instal in the "Software
Tyconoon" Directory. and the installed game did not work.

But without installing it is working perfectly, I could just start it
in the direktory where I decrunched it ....

This is the first time 'installing' is the wrong way to get the
software installed..
