    Hello,

    I wonder if an experienced programmer could port TOR to MorphOS. For those who don't know, TOR is an anonymizing service supporting most common internet protocols. It works in combination with a proxy service (Privoxy e.g.).
    AFAIK there's currently no single application that allows the usage of any of the anonymizing services around.

    Based on the UNIX source it might be not that difficult doing an MOS port. Maybe compiling with ixemul would already do it ?

    A simple port won't do, it would probably much better (and easier) to do a complete reimplementation.

    Additionally the existing TOR implementation uses SOCKS which makes it completely useless for Amiga/MorphOS apps (AFAIK no apps support it) without specific protocol proxies (which limits its usefulness dramatically)...

    @CISC: Thanx for your explanations.

    Can anyone offer me alternatives for using the internet under MorphOS without loosing my privacy ?
