You have to wait ( hopefully ) till March or April 2008.:-) Then you can pay for & run MorphOS 2.0

MorphOS 1.4.5, latest version out there, does not run on Efika.:-(

    Enjoy!

I wouldn't bet on MorphOS2 coming out by March. I seriously doubt if it will be finished by end of this year, if ever.

This is the reason why many, including myself are holding out before spending hard earned money on efika!

I would save the EFIKA for AROS which is nearly ready. I'd say by March. (I know it's more than two weeks :-) )

I am ordering an Efika as well.

OpenSuse is supported on it but with the low RAM, kde and Gnome will drag.

I donate low end PCs for use in inner city schools and the set up I use is:

Rox Filer (use --p option for a desktop)
    Oroboros wm
And its fast, even on Pentium I/133 mhz

I intend to put this set up on the Efika until Morph OS comes out.

Your running OSX on an Efika??
DVI to VGA adapters are dirt cheap. I have around four of them.

I went ahead and ordered an Efika... I assume once MOS2 is out (if it is) they would sell out pretty quickly, so might as well get hold of one while I still can.

The plan? I will get a cheapo 2.5"HDD, an ATI video card, install everything, make a nice case, and let it sit gather dust unitl MOS2 is finally out.

MOS 2 and AROS would be strong enough to make me buy an Efika... Linux
can run in other platforms as well. But it owuld be cool if OSX could
run on Efika as well :D
