I'm puzzled... are you making fun of your own nick or are you doing serious marketing here?

If it's the second I suggest to ask Targhan (webmaster) for banner space, it's not expensive. Making advertisement as forum mailing is not really suitable.

I really need to clean my keyboards again.. not sure if i should clean it the same way i did last time (that killed the keyboard): removing all keys, putting them into water until they are clean and the place them again on the board.

Anyone tried such small keyboard-usb-vacuum-cleaner-thingie? Is it any good or useful?

I found that it's easier, less messy, and cheaper to just use a CAK in the first place. (Cheap A** Keyboard)

Buy one on clearance, get one from the "closeout store," or hit up the cheapest thing in the department store of your choice. If you don't pay more than $10 for your keyboard--there is no hesitation in replacing it when it doesn't look "nice".

Another option is to keep a nice keyboard in storage for going to shows, etc. Although, this method has the serious drawback of attracting beer.... Oh well.

If I remember right, Mr. Sheen does this to be silly; and I'm fairly sure it's a gag. usually, he has a can of that stuff as his avatar too, but with the current temp-server he's stuck with a smiley.... *shrugs*

I dont think they even sell the stuff in the US do they? I havent seen it if they do.

I need to clean out my tower case real bad. It sucks in dust more then I would like it to. I'm also getting a new PSU that has removable cables in it to clean it up inside a lot, and rounded IDE cables to top it all off.

side) and some "Pril" (of course you can use every detergent
you like, I used AS Spülmittel from Schlecker recently, before
"akuta" from Aldi (or was it lidl?)) once a quarter year will keep
your kbd clean. Clean it moisty not wet and you're on the safe side,
dry it wth kitchen tissue. Even my old Amiga kbd which is something
like 10 years old lokoks pretty fresh and new still.

I gues puting the keys into waer is somewhat rude, if there are coal
contacts they will not welcome that.

I know what I am talking about since I worked as a room cleaner back
in the time I did my Abi - 13 dm/h and 50%+ worktime was done with
chatting with my cleaner collegue (a school mate), drinking coffee,
learning for school or keep an eye of the old NCR while the sysadmin
was going to the Pizzagrill or buying new cigarrettes (I never saw a
person smoking so much as this sysadmin did). It was a cool job and I
always can excuse my home mess with the fact that i know what cleaning
is about...

Last time I cleaned my KB, it was a normal old KB, and I had no problem cleaning it (with water, and all). But now, I have a RF keyboard, whose's guarranty I would not like to break... What can I do? Cleaning it from outside, is very difficult. I think I will mail logitech for a solution :P.

Yes you can still clean it the same, companies usually claim it will damage the item but it is all lies. They do not want home users to service their own products, that is why there is silly "this item does not contain serviceable parts" stickers on items which DO contain serviceable parts.

I use Mr Sheen (mixed with water) all the time on my Trust rf keyboard and never had a problem, just make sure everything is dried before putting the cover back on or you could be left with streaks and sticky residue.
