Okay here is your last chance to get any software you are working on shown at Amiwest. If you would like JKD or myself to demo something now is the time to contact us. I will be here at home for another week, and can accept emails. Just PM me or JKD with info on how to get a beta to us.

Obviosuly everyone is interested to see the new MOS1.5 and personally the new Ambient.
Other requested piece of software could be Papirus Office, Burnit Evo and similars. I'll let you know what other comes to my mind..

Can you make some videos of the show? It would be interesting for people like me that will be not there.
Good luck and enjoy yourself there! :-D

Well for stupid reasons its looking like we cant show off MOS 1.5 h is a real letdown for me. Its the one thing I wanted to show how much more advanced we are over Os4. The other stuff I think we will be getting in time for the show. JKD has more info on that. It also looks like we will have some time on the big screen to show off.

Will it be possible to show Papyrus? Thats one BIG thing missing from OS4 ... and MOS ATM :(

Don't know if MOS Pagestream has been released yet either ...

Sorry about the 1.5 stuff. If you are worried about comparison to OS4 then MOS 1.4 is MUCH better! ;-)

Just to qualify what Acill said:

    1. Only developers have preview/beta modules for MOS1.5 and have made
the decision that it should not go out of the hands of the core
group. This sucks and rest assured I argued as much as I dared without
pissing people off too much. Unless things change radically over the
next few days, there will be no MOS1.5 modules on show at Amiwest.

Think about it, would you want a developer pre-release out there in
    public? (Warts and all..)

    2. I have contact from Titan, facilitated by bbrv. Titan are great
guys and we should have Papyrus and BurnIT! DVD MOS Native on show.

    3. I do have Pagestream 4.x classic (68k) but have no clue how to
    drive it ;-)

    4. We have a ton of other stuff on both our machines.

    <edit>
    5. I also have Hollywood/Malibu/Designer package for demo but haven't
spent any time learning it yet!
    </edit>

Sorry guys, I tried my best.

    Regards,

    Steve

    1. I can understand that, shame there can't be one just for a presentation there though.

    2. Good :-)

    3. PGS 5 for MOS isn't available yet anyway. 4.1 for MOS is advertised as on sale, but I suspect it's only the 68k version with upgrade to 5.0 MOS option in the future or something. And yes, it takes learning to use even 10% of it!

    4. also good.

There is an obvious solution to the 1.5 demonstration problem - a release before AmiWest :-)

Now what are the odds of a release before Amiwest!? :-D Its okay, while upset i still understand the core dev teams reasons for not trusting it to us. We will make it a great show with lots of other great stuff. MOS is much more stable and does a lot more then OS4 curently does from what I understand. I'm sure plently of the red camp will be quite shocked when they see it for the first time as I was the first time I used it.

Confirmed software to show off my machine so far:

    1. MorphOS 1.4.2
    2. Quake II PPC
    3. Quake World (Quake I)
    4. Warcraft II
    5. Transport Tycoon Deluxe
    5. All items in the Super Bundle
    6. Another World (Even though work is no longer done)
    7. Wordworth, last official release (Shows 68k speeds well)
    8. UAE
    9. SNES9X running the few SNES games I have (No stolen ROMS here)
    10.MAME
    11. MorphEd and the MOS SDK
    12. Various apps that you all have made, mostly tokai's stuff! I have so much of the PD stuff!
    13. Simplemail MOS native and YAM MOS Native
    14. Ibrowse 2,3
    15. AMIRC
    16. SimpleFTP
    17. AmiTrade
    19. And lots lots more!!!

Beta Apps in the works are Burnit! DVD MorphOS Native and Titans Office package too!!!!

    Hehe,

Acill's status should be upgraded to Special Priest Of The Butterfly, spreading the word of true next generation amiga computing and converting dozens of reds to the right cause.

Acill, I bow for thee :-D
