    @Bodie

    I'm with ya man! None of this problem got solved behind the scenes in many months, bringing it into the public eye, whilst being an awesome pressure tactic, is clearly not helping matters.

    Lets all chill and give David (and others?) plus BBRV time to reflect on the negative impact this has had on a product which is a labor of love...hopefully a solution presents itself.

    I think David's terms are clear...until he is paid, or can be guaranteed payment for his work, then we will have no update to Ambient beyond what we already have.

    Any licnesing 'issues' are unclear to me at this point...if the terms of the IP are such that David is owed money for every copy of Ambient 'sold' (given away) with MorphOS then things are much more complex...as is the situation if he developed more than just Ambient.

    Rays - We have "liquid sunshine"
    Cheese - there was cheese on my Pizza...
    Wine - Just finishing a bottle of Beaujolais-Villages-Primeur :-)

    Anyway, folks. Don't be so negative, discussions appear to be on-going and if the worst comes to the worst components can always be replaced.

    MorphOS may have setbacks but I cannot see a senario under which it will die.

    Well its starting to look like things are not getting any better. Am I right in thinking this? Is David a total bust now and we will have to start from scratch with another desktop manager? What about MUI? Since thats the heart of MorphOS I think we are in a lot of trouble if its no longer part of it. Maybe we can all buy a keyfile for it like in the past? I am all for that as I would think many would be. It worked for AmigaOS 3.X and became a standard, why not for MorphOS as well?
