I just wonder if Genesi will start to sell their casing standalone? Also.. bbrv..? Have you contacted the Minimig casing maker? Maybe he would make a great casing for Efika?

Loriano has already mentioned making a case for the Efika but he needs to get the 50 orders for his Minimig case before doing any follow ups.

I'd be happy if someone sold back plates that would fit on any ITX or ATX case. I used a Morex 3688 mini ITX case and it fits ok with a little modding, but I stilll need to make a back plate.

I can do that if you wish. I have a backplate design already done. I just miss ITX or ATX case. It would be usefull to have a, adaptator board as well for screwing the board to the case.

    I will investigate.

Hi Tonho. Did you take those pictures? I can see what's going on in the first one but can you take me through the 2nd and 3rd pictures? All the same, it's great to see the DIY spirit is still alive!

Wow - I know you can quickly get into trouble by modifying a motherboard but...

    1. Put a 90 degree "bend" in the ATX connector.
    2. Same but in the opposite direction for the PCI connector (+ an alternate PCI to AGP).
    3. Maybe even remove or redistribute the USB/Ethernet tower.

... and that laptop would only need to be half as thick. Still, well done for making a MorphOS laptop!
