Any way, talking about the real thing, is true, confirmed that Next MOS release will have a "native" TCP/IP stack?

jcmarcos, the man who can't continue a joke ;-)

WrongPlanet is a satiric website, what do you want to find ? It's just a joke or a sadly realistic remark.

Hard to say, there is nothing to read about next release, no content, no release date, no status, nothing. So maybe it will or it will not have.

It was said, written, shown and even leaked several times that morphos 1.5 would come with a tcp/ip stack.

There were so many things written or shown but they never made it into a release. Rumours also saying that there will be no MorphOS 1.5 but MorphOS 2.0 so I don't know whats true or not. The MorphOS webpage gives zero answers.

Looks like we have 2 releases of MOS for to long now :-P, my setup have a 1.4.5 for 2 years +-, and the so famous "1.5" that we saw in some events around the globe is "available" and probably have the same age as 1.4.5, so what is missing to release this new one?

That is funny stuff there. I bet a lot of people got excited going to that link ;-)

Of course there is an integrated native TCP/IP Stack for next release of morphos! If not, they MOS team members will have their xbox/dvds/console/etc confiscated!

Hmm.. wonder if somebody should Really leak some 1.5 screenshots.. but they will get a lot of wah wah wah for sure.. ;-)

Why spread bullshit like that? Want to motivate us to work harder? Don't think that will work.

Ho is the one doing this? I just did a question about what is missing to make some new release, why MOS 1.5, 2.0 or whatever you may want to call, is a so secret thing? why in the hell make some questions about a new possible release if ever, can be bullshit?, how age do you guys are? are you kids?, sorry but this is what it looks like, if you dont want users for this OS just say it, I?m not trying to make anybody work harder here, if we can't make any questions about new releases, fine, just put a banner in the front page of MZ then nobody will ever ask about new MOS releases.

Referring to a plain unfinished internal developer version which had been illegally distributed on the internet, much to the despair of its creators, is not the best approach to get a sensible answer.

The people who have recently seen a current MorphOS snapshot running on an EFIKA at user meetings in Germany reported that the need for a bit more refinement was obvious. So, the developers are not making you wait for the fun of it.

OS development just takes a lot of time. Even more so if you add exciting new features.

Enhanced 3D drivers (radeon support) did. Patched DVD drivers did. Patched HD drivers did.

To better "match" the amount of public information, how about calling it MorphOS 0.0? :-)

:-) Hahaha. We know that doesnt work. Well isnt "work" a four letter word for the mos devs anyway? ;-)

    @ JoBBo

Naturally it takes a long time to develop an OS. Its understandable how long its taking considering people have jobs and Real Lives. The real problem is the Lack of Communication or Information to the user base. There was some signs of hope with the new website but no real information other than jokes. :-(

As far as a pirate version or illegal version. I dont think many ppl have it. I heard about it but have no idea where to get it or want it. If its anything liike the Alpha version I have it can be buggy.. For serious productivity usage 1.4.5 is the answer.
