Nice! To a Pegasos 1 G3 owner, that should mean *at least* a 66% performance boost in raw CPU power *alone*, and on top of that comes the much improved performance and functionalities of the Marvell/Peg2 hardware.

And when MorphOS 1.5 (with Altivec support) is released to the public, it will mean even greater performance possibilities!

200 Euros + shipping ...

(It almost sound like I would have a comission from upgrades! Of course I don't, but seriously people, take this chance (I did this the last time myself, I did never regret it, and this will be the last chance I think)! )

hmm, where can I find the serial number on the Peg1 board ?

there is a sticker on

- back of your cpu card
- back of your board (evil if you have build it in ;) )
- on the white box (if you got the peg in such box that is)
- most dealer also noted it on the bill (at least in my case it was noted on the bill. And yeah: I mean the paper thingie... not some Bill ;) )

can you please change the long line from your signature? Signatures are already divided with a marker, no need for that extra line.

Why? It breaks layout on small screens with IBrowse (and possible with other browsers as well) and users have to scroll left/right in the forum to read everything. Not so nice.

At least I think I will take the offer and upgrade (again then, I
did already from no April to April1 @ the Aachen show). My Peg1 served
me more than 2,5 years now quite brave. But now this old fellow will
get retired and it's successor will take it's place.

A honest tear drop for my brave silicon mate, but:

there is no serial number, not anywhere on the board (back or front) or the cpu card (back or front). The box is gone, but I'm pretty sure there wasn't a number printed on either. And on the bill there isn't a number, too.

And what about noApriled system?

In your latest blog you write about the Peg1 -> Peg2 upgrade:

Just to clarify: Does this mean you will pay an additional 100 Euro, get a Pegasos2+CPU but also keep the Pegasos1? Like getting a Pegasos 2 for 300 Euro?
