It is going to take us some time to do what is required, but we have already started
That sounds great!

While there indeed is a considerable amount of time until the next Christmas, there is also quite encouraging to see that "this department" is not abandoned at all!
For myself I would also like to put some emphasis on the "before" word when reading this statement! Who knows?
Naturally, a setback like the one we recently saw is bound to get consequences for all of us, and it is also bound to take time to work around (and hopefully other areas will be continued to be worked on as well in the meantime, other than just the "workarounds", I know it has already since the 1.4 release), but it has to be done, and it's nice to see *it will* be done! And who knows, even though MorphOS 1.4 works just fine for most purposes already (at least for me
), perhaps there will be some bugfixes/patches/updates released in the meantime that installs on top of the current MorphOS release which adds/updates certain components? That would be nice!
I am looking forward to some announcement in a close future about some upcoming intermediary update that installs on top of MorphOS 1.4 while waiting for the next "real" release!
