    @bbrv

    The comments posted on OSNews about Genesi/MorphOS/ODW are very worrying!
    OSNews is a big site, visited by many people, and most of the people surely prefer making their opinions by reading others' comments about the news rather than thinking with their own minds. So try to figure out what kind of opinion the people has now got about you!
    If I were you, I would talk with Eugenia Loli-Queru and point out a solution for this problem...
    Why do these guys try so hard to lower your reputation? What is their goal? Are they so fond of Apple/AMD/Intel as to fight for them? :-(

    Intel is making Amiga clones with the amigaos 3.9.2 as the base os for it. Why u ask becuase the rest suck , from the amigaone to the pegasos. Osnews knows about this and why pegasos is in so much trouble. Suggestion jump the sinking ship go back to the REAL amiga till the amiga clone is out via IBM,Sony,SGI and Intel. You can get it now, it will just be a little more expensive. I told you guys this would happen. :-D
    You guys still suck. You lie about your hardware to your software. Your "support" from the big companies is a lie, Its just you saying you buy from them. I can do better then that, and have done so. Just another poor mac wannabe. I dont care for macs or w

    See why the Genesi-Guest-House needs some posting restrictions ? Or atleast a way for a mortal mod to remove such drivel....

    Hi bigbot, that is interesting news and bodes well for "amiga" if that is the case. We will be as surprised as anyone if that happens. We hardly think Eugenia knows anything about this or seriously doubt what you have suggested is true.

    Hi Rockman, don't worry too much about what is said in the threads. There are two kinds of readers:

    1. Those that have an opinion/interest and will not change it for whatever reason.

    2. Those that do not have an opinion/interest and are open to new information or insight in helping them make decisions about products or issues.

    What we call the "open source opinion generator" is what it is. You have to take the bad with the good. Genesi is doing just fine and alot better than it was. Every month we get a little stronger and step by step we are making progress. We might have been at rock bottom and some times will still lose some ground here and there, but the general trend has been up all year. As long as we have the three PowerPC makers interested in what we are doing that is a good sign we are doing well.

    BTW, did you catch that? The three...;-)

    R&B :-)

    Didn't think about popularity. That's right! I hope...

    bigbot:

    go back to the "REAL" Amiga? yea, right. its DEAD. Only thing worth keeping is a A500 for old games and UAE for playing AGA or anything else. Why would anyone want to buy a x86 based system running OS 3.9? Sh** I wouldnt. Might as well run a 060 Amiga classic for that. Or he**, run AROS, its come a long way.

    MorphOS is THE PPC OS. Kicks any real Amiga's butt hands down.

    P.S. Rockman, of course, that does not mean you are prevented from posting a positive opinion over there on topic!

    GO AHEAD! :-D

    BeOS gets much the same reception, in fact anything not x86 or Linux based will get attention from the zealots.

    There are also people paid to make negative comments against competitors, they occasionally get caught but it's very, very rare.

    Very interesting! We must call the Vatican HQs! We found another manifestation of the devil! It's Bill Gates! :-o :-D :-P

    Now, this, could explain the facts, because I really don't understand why Microsoft or "x86" should have such an army of zealots! I always thought those kind of people could be possibly found in places like MorphZone only, not elsewhere... ( :-D ;-) :-D )

    @bbrv

    I'll try, but it will not be easy... They're VERY narrow-minded...

    I've made an attempt...

    My post on OSNews

    Sure, it's just a point of view, but I was starting to hate those blames about prices and performance...

    (Wow! I'm a Butterfly! :-o :-D )

    Nowadays there seems to be constant fighting about just about everything...

    And usually that just scares outsiders away from BOTH sides, and THAT is the problem...

    Actually I just posted a thread to amiga.org about a project, that could be done as co-operation between coders from various "next generation amiga-like platforms"

    (It's not originally my project, but the original author kindly provided me the sources)
