    No you cant. MorphOS will only run on a Pegasos.

    and how can it be done? or where it can be found? Got a 12" powerbook, but I got no more money to get a Peg (love to, but can't), but for what I have seen in Padova from Elena Novaretti it is a beautiful Os.
    I would like to learn more about it but only if I can manage to get it on my mac.
    Thanks a lot

    For now, I think MOS will sold and developed only for Pegasos.

    @all

    Recently Raquel and Bill (shareholders of Genesi) posted a long and interesting reply on OSnews.com, which is definitely worth a read: you can find it here.
    If you don't want to check by yourself, the relevant quote is this:
    Quote:

    we do intend to offer a CD-bootable distribution of MorphOS for Apple owners (no need to partition or change your hard drive unless you want to), but we need to move down the road a bit both on the OS and corporate side before we do that.

    So there are some plans to have MorphOS on Mac in some form, but they might take time.

    hawksmoor (BTW, welcome!) for the moment you can't run MOS on your Mac, but consider that the Pegasos doesn't seem so expensive (compared to a Mac, that is), and you can run OS9 faster than on its native HW (or so I'm told) while OSX suffers from the lack of OpenGL acceleration support in MacOnLinux, but it is still usable.

    Kind regards,
    Andrea

    OSX is VERY usable on peg2. I run my peg2 g4@1ghz w/768mb ram with OSX Panther extremely well. You cant play 3d games or anything but as far as Itunes, Safari, M$ office, IE, Photoshopand other stuff its fantastic....

    And the real beauty is you an reboot into MOS and use a really modern os :-o

    Thanks a lot for the kind answer, Guruman (are you italian by the way?).
    Problem is I've just bought the powerbook in may, just in time to go in Padova at Webbit, and it is simply that i ain't got no more money.
    I'll wait for a live cd.
