Am I the only one who was to reboot to get a wifi connection with my powerbook?
I have to choose another network save and reboot and then choose my own and retype my wpa key.
Or I can delete the wpa key and reboot and also reenter my wpakey.
My hardware is a netgear wifi card and a powerbook 1.67 Ghz,mos 3.3

My powerbook doesn't need this. Wifi works all the time.

WiFi on my PowerBook has been configured once, and then works at each boot without any problems.

No problems here either. Works as it's supposed.

How about trying to remove envarc:sys/wireless.prefs from use, reboot and then reconfigure it? Maybe there's some mess in your config file...

I deleted the wireless.prefs file.
Rebooted choosed my network filled in my wpa2 key works perfect.
But again after a reboot there is no wifi connection although the led is green on the network.
Again if I use my old method wifi connection works again..strange

I'm having the same issue as amiga4001 also having problems after connecting to a hotspot stop working and i have to connect to a diferent one the next time.

Oh nice there is someone else with same behaviour.
So could it be a hardwareissue?
I mean this is and was a clean install on the powerbook.
I also noticed the clockbattery seams to be on it's way out.
Could this influence this somehow..
