I can't get Geit's wonderful Meridian to work with PowerBook's touchpad.
Suppose it's because a touchpad use a different driver or something?

In theory it should work even with a touch pad.

My guess is that the jitter filter is to sensitive for the small value range created by a touch pad. The jitter filter reduces unwanted mouse movements. e.g. if you move the mouse 100 pixel to the right and in the same amount of time just a few pixel down, then the vertical movement gets ignored.

When using a touch pad the real movements are much smaller, so all moves may be ignored.

Currently just a wild guess, but I probably just need to adjust the tolerances when a touch pad is involved, but this needs some time to investigate, which I currently not have.
