I used to use tubexx for downloading and watching stuff on youtube.
But as this doesn't work anymore and owb is happy playing youtube video's is it also possible to download them?

Just use the context menu or the download links below, if it is a non html5 video converted to html5 by greasemonkey youtube script.

GetVideo script works just fine still. You can select if you want to stream with mplayer or save to a disk... and select the format you want it downloaded etc. I'm using it regularly still even while OWB can view the embedded videos, but it's just nice to have it streaming on separate window and you can continue surfing elsewhere :)

Does getvid work for non-youtube stuff?

There seems to be 35 different sites getvideo supports.

I tried it on crackle, but I get an error complaining about rexxsyslib.library missing. That file is already there though. Does it go somewhere other than Libs ?

You should copy 68k version of rexxsyslib.library to SYS:Libs/ and rename the one in MOSSYS:Libs/ to rexxsyslib.library_disabled. The one provided with the OS is incomplete with most operations.

Gotcha. I copied the library over from my 1200, but I didn't rename the existing one in MOSSYS.

I'll try as soon as I get home.
