I was curious if anyone has tried using either scala, or lightwave 3d 5.0 on MorphOS? Thanks

I haven't tried either, but I have tried Aladdin4D, and it seems to work (though there are a few bugs). While I haven't tried Scala either, there is a method to import Scala projects into Hollywood--which has a MorphOS version availabe (to the best of my knowledge).

is anyone still working on ImageFX? will we ever see a 5.0? and will it ever be MorphOS native?
same goes for aladin4D native ever?

Lightwave 5 runs on Pegasos but you need to find a very hard to locate "patch" to let it run on Cybergrafx.. it works but you cant see the display while it renders.

As to Ifx and Aladdin - well lets say that Nova design (the owners of those prgs) have access to Pegs and work closely with Genesi... thats all I'll say! :P

I haven't bothered trying SCALA as I'm 99.9999% sure that it is fully reliant on the ECS/AGA. However, Hollywood with the Malibu upgrade will allow you to run SCALA scripts. In fact, you can compile them into executables as well.
