I am not sure if this is the right forum for this topic, so please be tolerant of a newbie. :)

Just wondering if some nice individual/s might be able to help me out with an MUI problem.

I recently installed MUI Alpha 4. It seems to run fine except for one thing - since installing it my MorphOS Panels no longer work! They appear on the desktop, but when I click on an icon nothing happens.

This appears (so far) to be the only problem (I have) with MUI Alpha 4. I reinstalled MUI 3.9 and the Panels work again, but I would like to be able to use MUI Alpha 4.

I am probably just overlooking something simple, so if some nice person can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

You need a more recent Ambient Version IIRC.

Yup, you need to install a recent version of Ambient. just get the latest CVS with an installer.

Thanks guys! I had tried MUI 4 Alpha with Ambient 1.41, and then at another time tried Ambient 1.43 CVS with MUI 3.9 - both had problems...

... but I just tried MUI 4 Alpha with Ambient 1.43 Ambient - Bingo! Except for a serious stability problem with 1.43 CVS (sometimes when you drag an icon to a new position the system locks up), which at least is easy to avoid, it works perfectly.
