Hello,

I have tried to play a dvd movie and a little vcd with Devedie but i have no sound even though i have sound if i play the vcd directly with Mplayer. For the dvd movie it is a little bit different, if i try lo load a vob file or by the cli the result is trashy. So can someone tell me if that is possible to get sound, and how with Devedie lastest version and Mplayer 0.91 arexx please ?

Hey Brumiga,

The later versions of Devedie (1.1.0 and 1.1.1) have a volume slider gadget that is set to 0 when you first run the program. I thought my sound wasn't working but it was just the slider was all the way to the left. So adjust the slider and see if it works.

I had trouble with those versions of Devedie so I backed up to 0.5. It seems to me that 1.1.0 and 1.1.1 do more stuff but are not as "lean and mean" as Devedie 0.5. I don't know if vovka is accepting requests, but I would like a Devedie along the lines of 0.5 but with the ability to play VCDs and just plain AVIs too.

I did a try this afternoon. The gadget for the volume is on the right side, i think that is correct. Isn't it ? I choosed in settings ahi low-level and i obtained sound but it was not synchronized and at a moment it was freezed whilst the movie continued playing. So are there other settings possible or not ?

i made Devedie1.1.3 already.
it is 100% volume by default.

Did you submit somewhere this new version of devedie ? I did a search with google but in vain, i always obtained links for the curent version available. I also looked on your website http://www.unitedarts.narod.ru/ in vain also.
