    Hi,
    I never found this question answered completely, so I have to annoy you again. (Sorry for that :-)
    Is there a way to have an dual boot option on PEG1, just like you get with GRub or lilo-bootloaders ?
    Switching my bootfile to MorphOS is simple, but for linux, I need a notepad to get the options right ... not very nice for a quick boot change..
    bye

    Unfortunetely this fails on my Peg1.
    It says something like "no such variable $boot" and stops.
    Maybe it's Peg2 only ?

    bye

    the bootcreator has a "alternative" switch for Peg1. Dual boot (MOS 1.4 and Debian Linux) works fine for me.

    Yep. It workX !
    I had to replace the ide:0 with /pci/ide/disk@0,0:0 .. Maybe that's Peg1.specific...

    Nevertheless thank you for directing me the right way ...

    I make this bootmenu with bootcreator after I've installed Debian (sarge) on a partition on my 80Gb hd and it's ok.

    [SETTINGS]
    AbortOnKey = false
    Timeout = 9
    Default = 1

    ide:0 boot2.img ramdebug edebugflags="logkprintf"

    [SECTION]
    Local HD -> Morphos (Debug)
    ide:0 boot2.img ramdebug edebugflags="logextended logkprintf permmemtrack memtrack"
