Why do not register MakeCD?

My Morphos say:do not open the registerscript and no record my serial
number.

But MakeCD stores it's preferences to
it's icon. And if I remember correct
you should use the original icon and not
a PNG one ...

Correct: just use the original icon and you'll be allright :)

You can nevertheless change the Icon later, I use a png Icon for make CD and it works very well here.

Registration information is stored in the file comment. If you copy MakeCD installation from your old Amiga HD use CLONE option for copy command.

MakeCD changes it's own binary to store the registration information AFAIK. SO this could be the problem here.

I don't know exactly where MakeCD stores it' Registerinformations but you can not copy MakeCD. Copy the comment is useless, it won't work... Even if you "defragment" your HD (using reorg) the Registerinformation is gone...

Just install MakeCD from it's archive and type your register code...
Now everything should be fine

You need triton.library as well.

Just download the latest version of MakeCD from aminet, install it from scratch and than use your old registration number; that should do it.

btw, I just changed MakeCD icon with CopyIcon, didn't even lose registration information, and it seems to work...

It didn't work for me. I had to install MakeCD all over again from scratch on my Peg.
After that I was able to fill in my reg code.
