    Hi,

I have a Voodoo3 3000 AGP card installed on my Peg2. I have this problem: When I go to ModeEdit and try to create a new Monitor, then click Apply, then reboot, I see that my monitor has not been saved. Second, my machine is being booted in 640*480 resolution as a default and when I go to ScreenMode and select a higher resolution and Save Changes, it's 640*480 again. Altough listed, I never saw higher resolutions than 640*480.

    Any help, suggestions?

    Stupid question:
do you wait some seconds after saved the changes in prefs? Some filesystems take some seconds to actually save data on HD. Wait some secons and check if the HD led light.

Yes of course, there have been times that I have waited. My boot.img and my MorphOS system files are on my boot partition (FFS).

I don't know if it is related to your problem but I had a similar issue:

I was using a monitor with a very long name (IIYAMA Vision Master Pro AXXXXX).
The env variable defining my monitor was messed up. I told it to a MorphOS developer who told me it would be fixed in 1.5.
