Yes, I get the screenmode requester. If I choose 'Use Workbench', the Final Writer window opens (I can see the pull down menus too) but none of the 'screen furniture' is there apart from that - just a blank window. I can't close this window and it effects the wider OS - I can't for example launch other programs after this point. I have to reset.
I tried doing a more far-reaching Snoopium dump but this kills the system before the log.txt file is written.
