Hi everyone

I have a problem with apdf on MorphOS 1.4 - every time I attempt to run it to view a PDF document, it freezes. I cannot close it, so it seems like a pretty bad crash.

Anyone else have this problem with the PegII? How do I fix it?

FYI I am new to the world of Pegasos/MorphOS, and have just got my first ever MorphOS machine running - a nice new Pegasos II with 1Ghz G4, 256MB 2700DDR and my trusty old Voodoo3 2000 AGP card that I thought I'd never use again

In spite of what I might call "early-adopter" issues, I really like this super fast Amiga-like system (it's even faster than Zeta/BeOS - my fave OS).

Thanks Sphinx_Ra - as a result of your post, I re-installed APDF (copied it over again from the CD) - and guess what? It now works

Wondering now if I should check everything installed okay - (I did have a dodgy PSU in the machine when I started, though I seem to have had no other MOS issues)

well it may not be "duff".
one of the reasons i wanted my copy of Magellan on my peg was to be able to check each file exactly!
size, date, version number, all that

make sure everything is ok and working!

Well, I'm glad you did start this thread! If not for users speaking about problems, no one would know about it. I now know to keep my eyes open for such an issue, and if it happens to someone else that the FAQ will have to be updated (or some other action).
