Are you saying it is business as usual with MOS development. If so, you have a hell of a PR problem because my perception was that MOS was only seeing development 'round the edges'. Obviously if this is the case - this is good news and you need to tell people outside the confines of Morphzone.net and .de.
I had the impression that the MOS community was full of dedicated developers decrying the fact that 1.5 was never going to be released and slowly losing interest.
You already had answers from CISC. CISC (also known as Sigbjørn Skjæret) is one of the MorphOS team core members, one of the kernel guys. His reply is more valuable than mine. Anyway, as you can see, the developers confirm that the OS is still actively developed. Most of them are working in their spare time, but that's quite normal and understandable, unless the OS in question is Windows or MacOSX.
There might be a PR problem in the fact that someone might not know that he is a MOS team member, and he might add a line to his sign. But the informations you had about MorphOS development being halted come from the wrong sources and sometimes from people who like to spread misinformations about MorphOS. But then, just think about it, would you believe me or Rogue about the development status of AOS4? I think you get the point: those saying MOS is dead don't know much about it and usually are not even interested.

It just shows that people here knows how to behave.
I don't understand this. You are saying that I am completely wrong about the MOS devs - I would have thought the right way to behave would be to 'put me right' - not ignore me!
Problem is that there were zillions of thread already stating this, and not just on MorphZone. People like AmiGR, brotheris, Fab tend to say these very things elsewhere (on amigaworld.net, for instance), so those that wants to know have all the possibilities to know... And coming here almost out of the blue, and stating on a thread that MOS development has been alted, can be seen as a try to troll. In this perspective, I thought the users didn't feed the troll. But I can admit I was possibly wrong, and maybe you sincerely didn't know about MorphOS status and its latest developments.

active development of the MOS kernel and OS you really need to start shouting this from the rooftops.
An
active developer (with access to the kernel) already replyied in this thread.
Instead of shouting and stating the obvious, those who are spreading misinformations should stop. Simple as that. But some of them won't.
Kind regards,
Andrea
