Hi all!
Why don't we make a list of tested/compatible Ram modules on PegII? .. as proposed for GFX cards. We could do a unique list with all Pegasos compatible hardware.
However these are my first tests with PegII and Ram:

- Exilir 256 MB DDR266 CL2.5 module: it works OK.
- Star Ram 512Mb DDR266 module: it works OK.
- 2 X Star Ram 512 modules: 1GB Ram, they work OK.
- 1 Exilir 256 MB DDR266 CL2.5 module + 1 Star Ram 512Mb DDR266 module: Systems see only 512MB of Ram and not 768!!!!
Why!?

Probably because they're not matched pairs.

Dane-Elec 128MB 333mHz DDR works fine here.

As a side note 128mb 2100 Kingston Value RAM DID NOT WORK for me however wether the make is incompatable or this particular module was faulty I can not say. Either way I am aiming for a refund :)

Dane-Elec, DDR 266, 256MB (uses NANYA chips, which kick ass)

This looks like only 102mb of the 128 available is being detected or am I reading this wrong?

'Avail h' shows the memory status after the OS is loaded.
The 25.9M that is missing is used by morphos

The avail command on my peg2 with 512M is:

Type Available In-Use MaxImum Largest
fast 442.2M 39.8M 482.1M 433.5M
total 442.2 39.8M 482.1M 433.5M

512MB PC333-DDR Mustang CL2,5 also works fine.
