    @jambalah

    As you can see from this link to the faq section, the image is a bit too wide for most browser window widths :-( and it looked so cool.

    @topic as a whole:
    I think we should break down software into basic categories: tools, utilities, productivity software, games, and other. Well, I guess internet applications should get their own page. Next the big question is how detailed do we need to get? The editor here lets me/us use tables in the FAQ section, so we could have a few rows of columns to keep it fairly tidy. Maybe something like below?

    App Name | Level of Compatibility | Helpful info about the application.

    or it could just be the program name and all other info's next to it.

    Perfect! I resized it a little for the temporary page, and depending on where a more permanent page lives (i.e., if it gets a real page or stays in the FAQ engine) will affect whether or not we get to use the full banner. For now though, this is good! Thank you for your help.

    See FAQ area (Quick Help button at top of MZ), then MorphOS 2.0 Computability.

    Okay, tinkered around with OpenOffice to make a spreadsheet to see if it could make an acceptable output table to use in the FAQ. It worked, kinda. I think I'm more likely to use GoldED and a bit of ARexx magic in the end. Besides, it'll give me the opportunity to see how AIX works on 2.0 ;-)

    Okay, the preview is HERE.

    @jambalah: how do you want credit for your image; name, or nick?

    @jambalah Coolness.

    @all Hows the table layout? I don't like the way the numeric data is handled. I think I'll get rid of the "version number" field and just include it with the appname.

    I agree, combine appname and version and it will be better.

    Heys,

    been working on the list off and on, trying to compile everything into a spreadsheet that I can post in the FAQ area. I'm relying heavily on this thread for content, so post there if you have some working app that is not mentioned in the thread already.

    FYI: Due to the way the site lays out tables, I had to lose the banner :-( We may try that again later.

    I've tried to scrub out all non-game, non-scene-demo, stuff from the compatibility thread to come up with a good list, with notes, and poster's nick. What's more, the thing is alphabetized!

    @jacadcaps: I added your statement about screenblankers in the intro-text.

    This is the link to the FAQ page

    EDIT: I've also tried to doctor the following page up a little bit to make it more useful: https://morph.zone/modules/lastposts/

    Okay, the design is getting closer to an end product:
    https://morph.zone/modules/xoopsfaq/index.php?cat_id=19#94

    I'll likely add a link to the "compatibility" topic, and make that topic sticky.

    No worries about the testing right now. I hope your system is able to be repaired.

    I've added some stuff last night to the page too. Trying out a darker color for the table, a fixed width table, and a few other less noticeable things.
