Managed to get hold of a copy of Wipeout2097, but however hard I try I can't get it to install on my Efika.

When I click on the install icon nothing happens. Any clues?

Just install the "installer" from Aminet to your "c" drawer.
Installation went fine and Wipeout runs very fast on Efika.

Do you mean the Amiga installer from Amiga Technologies, or the one that is available for Morphos?

just checked which installer i copied to c.
I used the one from amiga os 3.9

Dung out my old copy of OS3.9 and moved it across runs great. Although it did just freeze on me. Can't wait for the sound update for Morphos.

You running your Efika with a usb CD-Drive? If so which one.

Once you installed the mentionned files above, just edit your user-startup file in Sys:S and add an assign :

Assign WO2097: [the path to your install directory]

eg : Assign WO2097: DH1:Games/WipeOut

then reboot and launch the game.

Read somewhere that you can use a USB controller with this game, is that really possible? If so what sort of controller do I need?
