    Hi!
And thanks again for the release. I have booted from the cd and so far it looks VERY good :) .

Now, here comes my problem. I have a new harddrive.
How do I set up my partitions? I have a peg 1.

In the installationprogram I choose the bootable partition and installs everything but when I reboot. it just says "quark" and nothing more happens.

I bought this peg with 1.4.5 for a half year ago and I never reinstalled so I dont know how to do really.
1.4.5 was very stable and worked flawless on my peg.

    I have
    DH1 capacity 705 free 586
    DH2 capacity 6GB free 4GB
DHX capacity 78mb free 72 mb.

    All of them ffs.

    //Peter

copy the bootpeg1.img from the cd to your boot partition, just replace the existing one.
your boot partition is probably DHX.

    best regards cego

you should use the bootpeg1.img for the peg1. you can rename it to boot.img and replace the other one. just be to sure, that there wont be any wierd behaviour of the system.

Do you really have to do the manual copy ?

I reformatted my harddrive, made 2 partitions: bio (automount), dh0: (autoboot).

    I then installed to dh0:

And reboot, but system does not boot and halts by the firmware prompt.
