    Hi guys

    I'm running the latest OS4 Emu and I just downloaded FPSE. When I try to launch FPSE GUI it seems to mess up the system. Nothing happens and the mouse pointer gets all slow and jerky. Does anyone have this running?

    If so, Please post here how to get it running and any secrets/tips you may have :-)

    FPSE GUI needs ClassAct stuff IIRC, but it also doesn't work for me. Maybe a missing class, or something. However, FPSE itself, started from the command line works very well and stable.

    1: Yes you need a BiosRom.
    2: Cos OS4 lacks Joypad/Stick support FPSE lacks it to, but you can plug an USB-Pad in you Peg and configure the Buttons as Keyboard input!

    @magnetic

    You have to patch the system first, write this in your user-startup
    C:PatchLoadSegOS4 >NIL:

    I think FPSE-GUI only uses MUI Classes, use snoopium to see wich you are missing.

    Are you sure you are using the latest os4kernel.library (V11.2)? Older version (1.6) of os4emu had broken MUI wrapper and everything calling MUI simply crash. Very likely you have an older version in MOSSYS:Libs and it doesnt belong there.

    1) You need PSX Bios.

    2) I cant really remember if FPSE supported lowlevel.library or AmigaInput at all. If it supports then joypad might work - or not. Never tested that much.

    Post at AmigaWorld.net and ask? ;-)
