Hey all,
When mounting a device which may or may not be present (like an external SCSI device being switched on or off) by using a mountlist in DEVS:DOSDrivers, it doesn't seem to work very well:
- If the device isn't there, I get a 'please insert device MYDEV:' requester during startup, which of course interrupts booting and I'll have to cancel the requester before it continues.
- If the device is there, it does not seem to mount at all.
- After booting, double clicking the mountlist in DEVS:DOSDrivers (with default tool 'mount' and tooltype 'ACTIVATE=1') slows everything down for a few seconds and has no effect.
Only when typing 'mount MYDEV:' in a shell it seems to work. Anybody also found this problem (on a Peg2 1GHz with MOS 1.4.2) and maybe has a solution for it, or does MOS 1.5 maybe fix it?
