Why isĀ“nt there an easy way to find Ambient screenshots on MZ. The looks of ambient with some nice looking themes/backgrounds is one of MOS strongest points.
It should not be viewable only for registered members but for all interested people.
Show off the different themes available.

You have the worlds most beutiful desktop screens! Why keep it a secret?

    Well....

We used to have a great image database (containing lotsa jaw dropping ambient grabs) here at MZ...untill several server crashes/hurricanes/evil digital bewitchments hit us. IIRC Targhan is still in the process of implementing and setting up the old database again.

At the moment I just can't see that much sense in a gallery with non-MOS-user-exciting Ambient screenshots that is accessible for registered MZ members only. ;-)

Btw: An example of photos from the former gallery which would be interesting to restore are those from MorphOS running on the 5200 (in case someone still has them).

Yes, the MobileGT board. In March 2005 we published a (german) news-item about it at amiga-news.de.

Seven photos were published by Genesi here in the MorphZone back then, showing MorphOS on the MobileGT - e.g. a directory listing of the boot CD.

    Hi,

There is some MorphOS screenshots in the Pegasos.org gallery also. I made also a few myself, for the aim showing some software running. Guess I have to update some with never and nicer look.

Anyone is free to submit their nice screenshots of course.

    Link
    Best wishes, Gunne

At least one photo of MorphOS running on the 5200 can be found again now in a thread at Power.org.
