Hi all,

I need your help in locating errors that have happened through the recent changes in servers, reboots, and mysql updates.

Several forums have been afflicted by changes in permissions, making some forums have to have approvals to see a post (other than your own), some even need approval to attach a file. This just won't do, so I would appreciate someone posting a forum topic, or a bug report, so I can isolate these issue.

Currently, only some forums allow attachments, but those that do allow attachments should not require a moderator approval.

Don't think it's intended that way, so: in the ezPM thread, I'm not able to edit my comments (the corresponding button doesn't appear), while in the "free" threads it works as usual.

Yes, you read this post correctly. We need to go through another server flip flop to get the connection speed up on the server where we'll be for a while. Just when we all thought it was over, eh?

Dunno if it's the right thread, but didn't want to open new ones, because those problems might be related to the recent server swaps...
Anyway:
- it seems there were two MZ databases that were switched a couple of times, making some threads disappear (for instance a thread about native SFS on the MorphOS for PowerUp forum), and some messages.
- the links to two of the three Doctor Morbius's articles are dead (From Genesi(s) to Revelation and Rise and Fall ...)
- some users aren't able to login anymore: the script that should send a password reminder to the email address of the user tells it's doing its job, but user's mailbox remains empty

(and I'd add myself to those who'd like to get the gallery back )

I'm having trouble login sometimes and dont have permissions to acces scalos gallery.

I don't seem to be able to acces the scalos galleries aswell

it says "registered users only"

there is really something that goes wrong in the database. I was connected to MorphZone at the same time with AWeb (not logged in) and with IBrowse (logged in). I wrote a reply in another thread (BurnIT 3, what the status of it ?) and sent it. Then the updated thread was visible with IBrowse, while my addition was not visible with AWeb. This was not a cache problem, I reloaded many times the page in both browsers without changes. After ten minutes I logged in even with AWeb, and the thread was upgraded soon...
