My iBook is packed up awaiting a move to a new city/state. Please post screenshots so I can continue to live vicariously until I can once again play on with MorphOS and Stylos!

Great news! I see that export to PDF is now available! Thanks to this, you can print your work results in Stylos :) Also, I see search and replace. Good work, and we're waiting for more. Do you ever sleep? ;-)

    Thank you @Papiosaur.

I have to say I'm very impressed how fast this was developed. It is very usable now in just a few months.

I just installed .99rc2 (non demo version ;) ) this morning, and yesterday .98 (you are fast!).

This was really the last piece we really needed to complete the suite of modern and effective products you can daily drive and importantly is very mature and constantly updated:

    Internet Browser: Wayfarer - Yes
    Email Client: Iris - Yes
    Word Processor: Sylos - Yes.
    PIM/CRM: PolyOrga - Yes
Spreadsheet: CellBasics - Beta/2 more weeks/RSN :) - It is very functional today and is constantly improving nicely. Given the same author also made Wayfarer and Iris, I think we know what to expect. :)
    DTP: PageStream MorphOS - Yes.

I encourage everyone who wants a great word processor to donate to Papiosaur as I have- See readme file.

    Thanks again Papiosaur!

I just used Stylos 0.99r2 for something a bit more serious – writing a short audit committee report. And you know what? It's perfect! I'm sure Yannick will add some more interesting features to his program, but it's already a really good word processor. I checked compatibility with NeoOffice in RTF mode and it's fine. It turns out I can use these programs interchangeably even without the docx implementation.

    Thanks @Papiosaur.

But now please resume your work on the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) driver for MorphOS.
Only then your word processor is s "complete success" :)

@Primax, i think you speak about RemoteScan project for network scanner, i never work on a IPP driver (printer) on MorphOS.

Out of curiosity, I searched for information about IPP and came across an article about AirPrint on AmigaOS4. Since I have a Pegasos, I downloaded the program and was a bit shocked, as both my printers were detected and printing correctly. However, printing has always been the Amiga's Achilles' heel. While MorphOS has a great printing system, compatibility with a specific printer model is always an unknown. It turns out that all you need to do is check if the printer is AirPrint-compatible. It would be nice to have AirPrint on MorphOS.

"The source code of Arild's airprint driver is based on the source code of the HP DeskJet CMYK sample driver, while the airprint.device is based on Chris Young's ipp.device Github link. The developer provided many useful hints on how the devices work together, enabling Arild to develop it further."

Doesn't that sound like a challenge? ;-) Bounty?

This is the list of bugs found:

FYI, each bug found and not listed entitles you to a €5 discount on registration (See readme file for more informations)

PS: Bugs found must be send by mail please

Bugs found by Sprocki: (fixed in 0.101)

    1. New Document keeps page count from previous document — creating a new document after a multi-page one still shows the old page count.
    2. Recent Documents menu contains empty entries — blank lines in the submenu after opening only one file.
    3. Find: Enter on second match deletes the found text — first hit works, next Enter deletes the selection instead of jumping to next occurrence.
    4. Find direction switch requires double keypress — after Cmd+B (backward), first Cmd+G (forward) is ignored.
    5. Replace closes the search bar without replacing — clicking Replace does nothing and closes the bar, whether replacement text is set or not.

    6. Font list breaks after DejaVu Sans — selecting any font after DejaVu Sans in the list applies DejaVu Sans instead of the chosen font. Font index mismatch.
    7. Bullet list dot size inconsistent — alternates between small and large dots on consecutive lines with mixed font sizes.
    8. Numbered list with large font overlaps previous line — number "2." at 72px paints into the line above; text on line 2 reverts to size 12.
    9. Strikethrough don't work via menu
    10. Undo/Redo don't work via hotkeys
    11. Print option via menu show nothing
    12. Search cannot find table entries
    13. Hyperlink insertion duplicating selected text

    14. Search only finds text inside tables if the table is already active (editing mode), or if the search term also exists in the normal text after the table. Otherwise, table content is
    skipped.

    Bug found by Thomas Igracki:

    1. Help key show a rectangle

    Bug found by skateman:

    1. Add a link to text, remove the picture located below

If you are testing Stylos, then you would be well advised to delete any previous versions of Stylos's .prefs in Sys:Prefs/Env-Archive/MUI/ for each and every new version that you test, as some of the prefs conflict with later version(s) which can fail to load the Stylos GUI correctly, usually related to the Fonts List, but not exclusively!

@NewSense: Thanks to report this problem and propose a solution.

Strange, because i didn't have this problems here from the beginning and i didn't have any ideas about the origin of the problem unfortunally. If somebody has any problem, don't hesitate to contact me.

Great! I haven't updated the program since version 112, and I think I saw version 118 on MZ before, and it suddenly disappeared.
