i would like to know if some MorphOS users should be interested by a Picasa clone for MorphOS?

Given that Picasa was discontinued about a decade ago and is not compatible with some newer OS releases (such as MacOS Tahoe), it might help if you explained what it does better than Showcase, which is included in MorphOS.

ShowCase is powerfull but the GUI is not very intuitive and difficult to manage pictures i found.

I don't want to do a ShowCase clone, just a simple picture manager. I don't think ShowCase is a picture manager but more a software to do effects on pictures.

In About window of ShowCase i see "Image viewing and manipulation utility", i don't see pictures manager.

@ Papiosaur - There is an Amiga 68k program called Photofolio v2.6 that runs quite nicely under MorphOS, and was checked in most part that it does work fairly stably.

It is likely to be further supported, and is free to download from the author's website, along with documentation in both Amiga Guide file and also as a printable PDF.

Would this be useful to you, to save you programming a whole new piece of software?

I don't know Picasa,but i understand you are looking for a picture viewer - organizer and modify. As this is the scope i suggest you my Astone available on aminet. It Is a clone of Fastone written on Hollywood and run quite well under mos.
