    Hello,

i would like to propose a new tool to convert many pictures in others format and/or resolutions in one operation.

Example : many pictures in jpg format converted in png format in 320x256 (just an example)

Is there a tool for that on MorphOS?

That would be ShowCase (ShowGirls). It has multiple functions for that.

ImageMagick - hundreds of options, thousands of combination... but a basic conversion doesn't require a comlicate syntax. Available for many platforms so detailed documentation is available. MorphOS version is on MorphOS Storage.

And TBH, if you just want to resize images to another resolution, I think ShowCase uses Lanczos filter for that in the batch conversion, and you hardly can get better results with anything else. ShowCase also has good sharpening and color manipulation options.

But RNOEffects is designed to use ALL program features in batch conversion, so it's much more versatile when you want to do more image processing for images, and it has better output format selection. For example, you could resize images, reduce colors on them, pixelate them, add a logo, and then remap them to a selected palette and save as IFF, etc.. all in one go. Or save images as icons, PDF, or video.
