Efika Serial Port as MIDI port?

    Could something be wired up to the serial port on the back of the Efika to act as a standard MIDI controller that something like HD-Rec could use?

    Yeah! Many of us are waiting since years for such a device.......(would make EFIKA a bit more useable....)

    What about a standard USB MIDI interface?

    I believe that all comes down to the camd.library. I had discussed this before a long time ago when I was using an eMac, and I can't recall the exact answer I got, but I believe it had to do with camd.library needing a MorphOS specific update or something or other.

    I'm sure someone will come along and shed light on that...

    ...man, my Efika feels so self contained, no way to reach out and express itself. :)
