No really it should, and I should not be told every time to spend more money on this, sell what I have and get that, or just dual boot and use this OS also.
The Amiga used to be the Media Machine. It was the hardware for artists. Not no more, not next Gen Amiga anyhow.
MorphOS says they have support for such and such hardware, but with lack luster USB support, missing MIDI support ( so it seems), no wifi support, and audio that is limited by ahi still to this day.
Yet, people are buying there product (after all it does shine in other less creative areas such as the web and with music and movie playback), and companies and coders are still making software for it.
The thing is though is that with the likes of Audio Evolution (which I paid for), Hd-Rec, and the upcoming pay for product, DigiBooster 3 coming out, only certain MorphOS users are going to be able to enjoy them fully (or partially in regards to midi), while the rest of us must suffer because our particular hardware isn't fully supported.
This in turn will only serve to effect the sales of future commercial products for MorphOS. I blew money in Audio Evolution which I can't use now because I wanted a compact computer in my recording studio as opposed to a big tower.
If customers are going to buy your product (and don't get me wrong, I do love it), then I think you should be obligated to ensure that the experience on their hardware of choice only gets better.
Likewise if people are going to code for and release commercial products for your OS, then you ought to show some love and make making their software work to the fullest on all MorphOS' supported hardware a top priority, no question!
