After playing with MOS 2.0 I've decided to let my Peg go. I'm only asking $650 for all of it. Whats that include?

    1000 Mhz. G4 Pegasos 2 main board.
    512MB corsair RAM
Raideon 9200 128mb AGP video card.
    TV card
several hard drives loaded with boot menu for MOS 1.4.5, 2.0, Ubuntu linux and Mac OS X Tiger.

Very nice case with custom PSU. All unused power connector can come off.

Keyboard, IBM type, looks and feel s a lot like the classic A2000 one.

Mouse, MS optical inteli wireless mouse.

If you would like pictures just ask I can send some out. First one that asks and is serious about it, gets it!!!

Yeah, I will still be here. The gas prices are killing me so I got a new road bike. A nice Cannondale Six 13-1. I know you of all can enjoy that!

If anyone wants to work a deal let me know, but I think the $650 is more then fair. I think I have like close to 400GB of drives in it as well as a USB 2.0 card. I forgot about that one.

    Yes!! :-) considering I've been riding/racing a Cannondale Six 13 for
the past 2 years!!! I also commute to work about one day a week.
was more consistant last year as I was having car problems
and road all but a few days up to july last year.
Yes Gas prices are bad here but probably not as bad as you have
    it on the west coast.

Have You considered Ebay?? Although $650 is a very fair
price.. I think You could get more... Personally I think
It is worth more!! Maybe Amiga.org?? Just a suggestion.
    Good Luck

Was considering a Canondale road bike myself this spring, but went for a Specialized Sirrus Comp speed bike. Am happy with it so far, but I guess going for a real racing maschine would have been the better decision. Most likely I will add a triathlon bar extension to it. Need to do some more kilometers though to reach my this year's goal.
With my both bikes I do a kilometer for 0.05-0.10 EUR, with a car I guess it would be 0.40 EUR. However, cycling isn't for free.
Hope you're happy with your bike and don't get lost for this community.

    Hi Acill,

Could you find out about shipping to the UK for me? If it's not too insane a cost, I'll be happy to buy the Peg II off you. From experience, USPS seems to be the best option price-wise - DHL prices have been ridiculous in the past!

By the way, do you accept Paypal? If not, I'll look into bank transfer arrangements.

    Best Regards

    Rich

Sure i'll look into it for you later this week. I'll have to strip it down and figure out the weight and what it will take to keep it safe in the mail.

    Thanks matey,
There's no need to strip it down though, hopefully postage with the Peg still in the case won't be too bad - it would probably cost me more to buy a suitably cool case for the Peg if I just bought the barebones anyway :-).

EDIT: Just dug out the dispatch note from my A4KT which I got sent over earlier this year. That weighed 36lbs and cost $167.50 in shipping fees, so hopefully the Peg2 will weigh in at less than that :-)

Bought a Pegasos II MB about 6 months ago and i paid the equivalent of 600$ for it. So for a full system i guess it is a very good price.

Decided to sell it to someone a bit more local, hope i didnt upset any of you wanting it. Shipping would have been just way to much over seas. It was going to be another $100 to the UK.

Acill, I'd be happy to pay that for getting the system shipped.

I'm disappointed that I seem to have been gazumped by someone, as I though we had a deal.
But whatever your decision, I'll live with it.

    Thanks for the info.

    @Acill

No problem matey, I understand. Tell the buyer he owes me a beer by way of compensation though ;-)

Snuffy, I think you're referring to new A1s and even if you're not I don't think they'd go for $1300 these days, new or old.

I'd say there was also a certain, small amount of people who were willing to pay absolutely exorbitant prices for any hardware marketed as Amiga, at the first with no OS4 and only some Linux.

The MorphOS users were and are also willing to pay an unusually high price for their gear and OS, but not as unusually high as that.

$650 is a reasonable price for a used Pegasos with the stuff Acill referred to.

    Hola! :-)

I think his peg2 was sold long time ago. Anyway tell your friend to get a Mac Mini G4 / 1.5Ghz silent upgrade with 64MB Radeon. It will be cheaper and nearly twice faster. And your friend will be running MorphOS before the end of this year. Since Mac Mini G4 1.5Ghz models are harder to find he has time to find it before the end of the year. I guess that it will be easy to get one on eBay USA (do you use 110v or 230v?). :-)
