    Hello,

I have some trouble with my radeon 9250 on Efika : the DVI output is not working.

Do anyone have a working low profile 9250 DVI output ?

If yes, what is the brand/board reference ?

    Mine is a Triomphe 128Mb 166Mhz ram / 240Mhz gpu.

    Czk.

Is the DVI completly not working or does it flicker?
And i had a Radeon 8500 Befor in my Peg DVI doesn't worked for me, till i changed the input on my TFT 2-3 times and shutdown my Peg twice.
And now i have Radeon 9000Pro and the DVI flickers as soon as i move a window or do any other thing like move the mouse.

The display is off on DVI an up on VGA.

I wish to know if someone have a working DVI output on efika with 9250 chipset line.

Notice that I use a DVI to VGA connector to plug on my LCD.

I should try a true DVI input but my current LCD have only VGA.

Most graphics cards turn off DVI output if a DVI monitor is not detected on power up. Always turn the monitor on before you boot.

    Monitor on before boot.

I will try again to be sure of that this afternoon...

I have used Radeon 9200SE with DVI for 3 years without any problem. Never tried any DVI-VGA adapter though...

I am too using a Powercolor 9250 low profile board on my Efika and it works great. I'm using the DVI port with VGA adapter and connecting it to a KVM.

I use an HIS Radeon 9250 128mb (H925H128E1TOAN-S is the model number on the box) from tigerdirect with a DVI-VGA adapter on the DVI port and it works great. this seems to be one of the few cards that actually fit in the directron case and is still available for purchase. (I went through half a dozen orders cancelled by the vendors for lack of stock before I got this one.)

If this - as the topic says - is intended to give a live of cards that work and others that don't I can add my EV-A925LD8 from EPoX here to the latter. It does not get into/over OF, so if you try to get one don't buy it for your Peg or Efika.

I checked direct DVI vs DVI to VGA adaptor.

Direct DVI works and DVI to VGA doesn't.

I should think about replacing my VGA LCD to a DVI enabled one... :(
