    Hello MorphZone!

I have a problem with USB mouse, maybe you'll be able to help me. I own also a PS/2 mouse, which is working without problems on Pegasos 2 and MorphOS 1.4.5.

Recently I acquired one of these nifty Apple Mighty mouses. Unfortunately, it is not working under MorphOS. Pointer does not move at all. I tried using this mouse under linux running on the same Peg box, and it "just" works. Also, I tried connecting mouse directly to the port of Pegasos, without any hubs, but it made no difference.

In the error log of poseidon there's message, that new mouse at port 1 was found, but also:
"Broken: SetConfig/GetConfig mismatch (1 != 0) for Apple Optical USB Mouse!".

    I've dumped USBDevLister to file:
    http://c0ff33.net/USBDevLister.txt

    My Poseidon version is 2.2.

Maybe this problem is widely known? Can this easily be fixed?

    Thanks in advance.

You should at first update to Poseidon 3 and report what happens then.

I even thought about it, but on platoon42.de Poseidon site there's only 3.8 version for 68k. Will it work on MorphOS? Or is there some "secret" place where I can download newer MOS version?

The 68k version is not for MOS users. I wonder why Chris did not put the MOS version online again as he even did with the 68k one. Maybe you can ask him to place the MOS archive on his homepage again. I do not know of any other public source for this archive.

The reason I didn't put the file back is that it is ridiculuously outdated (we're talking here of two years), that it is a pain to get working with an old Bootimage and that MorphOS 2.0 contains the latest version anywhere and there is no sense trying to give support for the problems with the old version, the hack getting it into MOS 1.4.x and the old obsolete USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 drivers which have more bugs that you could count with your fingers in binary mode.
    Bye...
