I am in big trouble I think. My Pegasos 2 G4 is not booting anymore.

When I press the power button, all the required fans are working (and the CPU fan), but nothing more. Even the DVD-ROM drive isn't working (you press the eject button, but does nothing!, it seems that it's not have power). Also the power led is working, but I can see nothing on my monitor.

    I use the following:

Hard Disk: 80GB Western Digital ATA100
    DVD-ROM: LG DVD-ROM
    RAM: TwinMOS PC3200 1GB
    GFX: Radeon 9250 128MB

The cable that I connect the 2 IDE devices is by Sharkoon.

Please help me. I hope that my G4 CPU is not damaged anymore (because I haven't operate my Pegasos for 1,5 years).

Sometimes my Peg wouldn't work, either after being unused for long or after a component change (such as PCI card or PSU). No sweat. Here's what worked for me every time :
    - detach everything from the MoBo except for processor and a memory stick.
    - plug back things one at a time
Sounds silly I know but this really worked for me.

I logged in #MorphOS early this morning, and I discussed this problem with Amix (thanks again!). He told me that these memory modules of TwinMOS don't operate functionally with PPC cards.

I change this with a Kingston memory module, but the problem is the same. So I think as you guys say, it's the PSU.

Another question. 400W PSU is enough? :-?

A 400W PSU is enough, I'm using a 235W PSU at the moment. Just try
another PSU. If that doesn't help connect your Pegasos to another
computer with a serial null-modem cable (115200 8N1) and see if you
    get some output.

I asked a friend of mine about my problem and he said that if it's not the PSU, then maybe it's the motherboard :-(.

If it's the motherboard or the processor (I don't know), where I can send it to repair? :-?

    @Phantom

"Even the DVD-ROM drive isn't working (you press the eject button, but does nothing!, it seems that it's not have power)"

it is the PSU! replace it.

Edit- to be 100% sure thats the PSU, disconnect the IDE flatcable from the DVD player and try the eject button.

If it fails is the PSU (obviously knowing that the DVD itself is fully working)

You should probably check if you get anything on serial debug first.

No. If there are definite signs that PSU is likely broken, the best idea is to try booting with working one first.

And "not getting power from separate connectors" seems like it...

On the other hand, if the motherboard IS faulty, it might block the poweron signal from reaching PSU, and then separate power connectors would stay "off" aswell, I guess...

Well yes, I thought enough people had suggested that already, and made the silly assumption he had actually checked that :)
