    Hello,

i work actually on a new device dedicated to SCANdal allowing to support all network scanners supporting eSCL protocol.

For the moment a command line is available to get the scan in RAM: (jpg format).

If you want to support this project, don't hesitate.

[EDIT] Seems SCANdal can't receive data because the scanner send JPG or PDF directly and SCANdal is actually programmed to receive raw data line by line (for USB/SCSI devices). I hope it could be updated to support eSCL protocol.

For the moment, i will propose an alternative: a tool in command line with an Hollywood GUI and support of HTTPS. The scanner will send data directly in RAM: in the format asked.

This is a beta supporting HTTP/HTTPS:

    Thanks to read Readme file.

[EDIT] this is a tool for debug to try to understand why don't work for some scanners

thanks to copy the full log and send me by mail to papiosaur2@hotmail.fr

    Thanks for your returns.

    Hello Papiosaur,

I'm going to donate to this effort.

This is a real big deal for productivity in MorphOS.

Not a millionare sadly, but happy to help.

Unfortunately, RemoteScan didn't work with my Epson XP-322 multifunction printer, and I thought it might not be compatible with ESCL. Today, however, I dusted off my Pegasos to see if it works with AmigaOS4, Airprint, and AirScan. Both systems work! I'm not sure if ESCL and AirScan are the same, but I think it would be great to have support for these two features on computers running Morphos. Perhaps we could talk to the author about a possible port? :)

    Maybe private Bounty once again?

Yes, AirPrint/AirScan are Apple's names for the eSCL protocol.
