    Hi,

I just installed a new RAM module of 512 MB in my Pegasos II, But when starting the machine, at the openfirmware banner I see only 128 MB but I don't know if this is the amount of RAM or not.
Is there a way to verify the recognized amount of RAM ? through openfirmware or through morphos ?

    Thanks for your help !

    Type "avail" in shell.

You mean the top line of the openfirmware screen? I believe that line gives information about your graphics card, like model and the amount of RAM it has.
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :-)
MorphOS NG will be AROS done right! :-)

That's the ram of the graphics card you
    have ;-)

In MorphOS there is the "avail" command
to check for memory. Also a memtest utility
is included to check if your RAM works
    without any problems.
