Yes, what Andreas stated is for the most part correct. All standard SATA interface drives will work, many SATA2 drives will work, SATA3 drives won't work at all.
And I was quite satisfied with my OWC SATA2 drive...until it abruptly stopped functioning.
At this time, I have several 2.5" conventional hard drives, most of which work under MorphOS. And since our storage needs are modest, these 250-320 GB drives are humming away in my computers for now.
Since OWC drives are warranted for three years, they'll exchange mine.
So I'll have at least one SSD. I might just put it in my X64 laptop though.
MorphOS only benefits just so much from these devices.
I know some of you will object to that statement, but I don't see the point in spending too much to expand dated hardware.
