Why should AmigaKit have anything against MorphOS on the X5000/Cyrus? And why should the MorphOS team care about what Hyperion wants, especially when Trevor endorses MorphOS on his hardware?

Because there are people who have been saying OS4 doesn't fully support the X1000/Nemo as long as the 2nd CPU core is unused.

I'm not sure they said it was impossible.
Rather that it wouldn't work in the same box.
But that does not preclude wrapping Abox with an even more powerful system.

However...that isn't happening (and to the best of my knowledge what they are considering for OS4 won't be anywhere near that ambitious).
What our developers are planning is stepping away from complete legacy compatibility (to a new ISA) in order to actually implement the things the other camp has been promising without the issues they will have to face.

It was 5 years ago that he said it wouldn't take 2 years.
