Yes, I know you still can't sell non-RoHS stuff directly in the EU, but eBay's been doing that illegally for years, so there is a niche for the UK to flood the mainland with cheap unregulated shit like China does now but worse. Given that the endgame for Brexiteers (the rich ones, not the idiots voting for it because they don't like funny accents) is to turn the UK into some kind of new tax-haven Taiwan or Singapore in the Atlantic, this kind of thing is much more likely.
I don't think it's likely in this particular case, but it is a possibility.
