If iBook G4 support will ever occur then the latest revision (mid-2005) should be among the supported models.

    @AW

    Says who ??

When it comes to G4 iBooks there are really just 2 versions:

-those that come with a Radeon9200 ranging from 0.8-1.2Ghz (12") and from 0.933 to 1.33 (14") where both the KBD and trackpad are ADB. These are quite similar to the MacMini.

    - the 1.33GHz 12" and the 1.42GHz 14" with Radeon9550 and USB trackpad, somewhat related to the 5.6/5.7 PowerBooks.

All these could be supported, but IMO 14" models make little sense (not really cheaper/smaller than a 5.6 PB while offering much lower specs).

The 12" would be surely interesting but may come in 254 subtile different revisions.

In the end the real desicion will be made on motivation of devs (which might hing on sales for the PBs as suggested) and what models/revision are at hand.

I think you should support the 1.33 GHz 12" version.

    As it's the one I've got. 8-)

To these IBooks have more as 32MB vram ? if they don't have 64Mb , I am not interested. Otherwise I think I do have an interest in the smaller Ibook

Says me, as it surely wouldn't make any sense to not support the mid-2005 revision but only older revisions, would it?

Both versions being supported would mean exactly what I said, i.e. that the second version is among the supported models, wouldn't it?

    > IMO 14" models make little sense

If support for any 12" model would get implemented, I doubt the corresponding 14" model wouldn't get whitelisted as well, even if it only "makes little sense".

All iBooks only have a 1024x768 screen, I'd say 32MB is plenty enough for that....

If you want wireless support with MorphOS 3.0 you will need something like this

There seem to be a few solutions proposed so far:

    Netgear WNCE2001 -
    Asus WL-330gE
    TPLink TL-MR3040

But I've just got the LB-Link BL-MP01. It's about a third the size of the WNCE2001, does wireless-n (as well as g/b), and runs perfectly when powered form a single USB (<500mA draw). It's about the size of a disposable cigarette lighter.

Web interface for configuration, so works perfectly with MorphOS.

And it's only £11.18 inc delivery!

The only downside: ordered from Hong Kong, and took nearly 3 weeks to arrive. I'll be ordering a few more for various other machines/networked peripherals in the near future. :-)

Audiophile: Efika 5200b (SB Audigy): OS3.1 (VNC + Virtual Monitor)

Thanks for the b-link suggestion mine finally arrived after 4 weeks to the UK on sat.

No instructions so it might not be as newbie friendly as the netgear I also have but its definitely smaller. I got it going after a bit of fiddling. The biggest thing is to switch it to client mode rather than AP (presumably Access Point).
