Some people asked for list of working / non-working DVD drives, so why don't we start one

I've got Samsung CDRW/DVD SM-332BT401LEG 0905T01 (That's what UnitControl says)

It's got "region free" firmware upgrade, and about all DVD's I've tried work just fine. (Most R1's and R2's worked even without firmware upgrade using AMP2 on my Amiga, but I didn't have Pegasos before I had it upgraded)

I can burn CD's with it using MakeCD, both DAO and TAO.

I tried a LG LG GCC-4520B CDRW/DVD combo drive... it reads cds and records them but no DVD playback with Mplayer

LG 8161b DVD Rom drive works great with Mplayer and cds..

Samsung SM348B CDRW/DVD drive records/plays cds wont play Encoded DVD with Mplayer

I'm really looking for a DVD writer that plays DVD with mplayer

Burning a CD with MakeCD worked with a LG 4040B on Pegasos II.

(But be aware that AFAIK there's no DVD writer software yet on the Amiga which supports this drive.)

Playing DVDs with MPlayer does work on my Pegasos II with the mentioned DVD-writer as well as with a LiteOn DVD-ROM.
