I can't recall using my usb external dvd re-writer(lite-on) since the upgrade, but it's not mounting anything, though it appears on the usb device list, but messages state trying to mount unit1 via morphos mount.library then all warning msg all the way down simple scsi:filtering scsi command 01 00 00 00 00 ect.

Any Ideas what's going on?it worked before, to burn and copy copy and is listed on my frying pan, but fp is having issues accessing it too.

Right, now go disable simple scsi in usb massstorage settings for that device again.

yea it was disable, then I enabled it which gave the above msgs. so I disabled it again and still nothing, even after re-boot. Works on the osx side.

Trying to mount unit 1 via Morphos mount library.

Is there a mount to put into user-startup or something? I remember doing something when it was attached to my efika then. (It worked under 2.4 on the mini too ) I also installed the sdk pack. Whatever it is, it's reognized as attached, and working, just not mounting!

And this same media mounted before? What is on it?

It is a DVD movie, but I also tried with an audio cd, and a different movie. I'll try an old game cd later if you wish. What alerted me to the issue was writing an audio cd from mp3, and the mini wasn't reading the blank media correctly (stated no room with makecd) so I decided to try it on the usb drive, then discovered these issues with mounting.

echos the same errors on data media disk (os3.9)
repeats continuously.

I resurected my old hp dl dvdrw 603e and it works fine, so It's a matte of finding a setting which works for the lite-on then maybe? I'd rathr the lite-on as it is a slim drive which sits on the mini. the hp is bulkier.
