I try to install an epson perfection 1650 (scanner) on peggy.
Poseidon recognize it without problem and create a device in the trident's panel. It does not associate any class, but I, manullay, link the rawrap.class.
All is done, but what's happened? Nothing.

FxScan ask me a file for Epson (it is in a subdirectory with fxscan) and a device. But, what device? I have no device!

Should Poseidon create a device in mossys:devs/USBHardware?

I try with Poseidon included in Morphos disk installation and with Poseidon 2.2, but nothing.
    I have no device.

Is there anybody which can suggest me anything?

The epson perfection 1650 is an usb scanner.
I think betascan does not support usb scanner but only scsi.
But my usb scanner is supported by fxscan. I don't know which type of device I have to associate with fxscan.
And I don't understand if Poseidon create some device when you plug in your new usb hardware.

I read it but I don't understand where can I get the usbraw.device.
I have no file in mossys: or ram:.
Poseidon program does not create any type of file in mossys:devs. I have no directory in this place called USBHardware.
If I install the new release (2.2) (may I install?) I find the directory USBHardware but only one device >> uhciusb.device.

Shall poseidon create in this directory in runtime a new device when the new hardware plug into the system?

    Many thanks for the patience.

You don't need any usbraw.device, just enter that device name in the device field of FXScan, choose device 0 and save, then it works!
Before that you must ofcourse bind the rawrap.class to your scanner, like described on the IOSpirit page.
If you still experience problems, just ask :)
